How Long Does It Take To Complete My Work Order?
Our policy is to have it available for pick up within 1 business day after placing your order. But it is nice to have a few days notice. We also offer delivery to your jobsite but cannot promise next day delivery.
What Length Panels Can You Make?
Our machine can make panels from 36″ to 40+ feet. If you need pieces shorter than 30”, we are able to shear them to length by hand for an additional per piece cutting fee.
What Screw Pattern Should I Use When Fastening Panels?
We recommend screwing in the flat part right beside the rib, starting with the overlapping rib. You will get 4 screws across- the fifth rib will get overlapped by the next panel. Put a row of screws approx. every 24″ to 32″ along the length of the panel.
What Kind Of Warranty Does The Metal Have?
Our metal carries a 40 yr warranty against the paint chipping, cracking or peeling.
What Is The Correct Way To Overlap The Panels When Installing?
One edge of the panel has a flat edge about 1/4″ long. This is called the purlin bearing rib. On the other edge, the rib does not come quite to the bottom flat section of the panel. It is the first edge I mentioned, the one with the 1/4″ flat part that must ALWAYS be the LEADING edge as you install.
What Is Storm Shield?
The Storm Shield is an additive to the coil coating process. It is defined as a Proprietary Super Durable Polyester resin which provides superior resistance to chalking, fading, and environmental weathering.
